To accelerate its presence in the European market, Wellhub (formerly Gympass), a VOX Capital portfolio company, announced the acquisition of Germany’s Urban Sports Club, one of the region’s leading corporate wellness platforms. With this move, the company’s client base is expected to grow by more than 50%, adding around 12,000 companies to its global portfolio. The transaction, still subject to regulatory approval, will also significantly expand its network of gyms and wellness partners, now surpassing 83,000 locations. Both companies will continue to operate independently but with integrated networks, further strengthening Wellhub’s position as a global leader in corporate health.
